Is it okay to be scared?

Yes! It is okay to be scared. But, at the same time, be confident in the Lord. If your heart is open to His leading, there is nothing to be afraid of. And, if you are confident in Him, in time the fear will go away. The best way to go about it fearlessly is to be in constant prayer about it. Let the Lord tell you when the time is right to say something. But don't ignore Him out of fear and blame it on not feeling His leading. Be open. He'll take care of you. In Acts 1:8, Paul recalls Jesus' promise that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, and we will be His witnesses. Take comfort knowing that He will give us the power and the words to say. He will help you to plant the seed in their hearts.

I can say with great confidence that when the Lord told you I was ready, He was right. When you approached me that day, it was the first time in my life that I did not reel back at the thought of God...You know that was an uphill battle but you spent the time getting to know me so I knew that you did not do it lightly...Though I also think that there were angels whispering in my ear as well (again...) at that moment. :)
